The Albright College men's tennis team was swept in its 2012-13 opener, losing 9-0 at home to Penn State-Abington.
Sophomore
Ruicong Lui returned at first singles and doubles and put up a fight, losing a tough 7-5 opening set to
Jordan Domsky, and teaming with
Cain Walter to lose 8-4 at doubles (to Domsky and
Steven Ly).
Freshman
Terrence Goode made his Albright debut and competed at fourth singles, getting swept. He teamed with
Thomas Werner in an 8-2 loss at third doubles.
Other double winners for Abington included Ly (third singles, first doubles),
Nigel Hopkinson (second singles, second doubles) and
Ross Raddi (fourth singles, second doubles).
The Lions are 0-1 and will host another Penn State satellite school, Harrisburg, on September 24.
