Junior transfer John Wallace won his second consecutive race in two tries, as the Albright College men's cross country team competed at the Misericordia Cougar Classic on Saturday.

Wallace won by 10 seconds, pulling away from Elizabethtown's Stephen Welsh to take first in 26:51.24. E'town won the team race, with Albright placing eighth overall out of 14 scoring teams.

Junior Sam Marcotte was Albright's second finisher, placing 63rd overall, in 31:34.74. Returner Dave Dupre (32:01.21) was 130th overall.

The Lions will compete next weekend in the Philadelphia Metro Meet, at Belmont Plateau.
