The Albright Lions faced tough overall doubles competition, giving Moravian a 3-0 game score lead.
Matthew Muoio and
Sean Purcell played a challenging set at first doubles but could not clinch the win, losing 5-8.
Although ending in loses all around, the Albright men played with great effort in singles. Muoio, at first singles, and
Ken Richardson, at second singles, both ended with scores of 6-1 and 6-3.
Senior
Ian Moore fought to get a score on the board but lost to
Giovanni Lombardi 6-0, 6-2
Junior
Thomas Werner also battled to gain game points in two difficult sets but lost to CJ Widdifield 6-1, 6-2
Even though the match was a tough one for Albright, losing 9-0 to Moravian, Albright men's tennis still has an solid season record of 2-1.
