The Albright College field hockey team jumped all over their opponents in their Commonwealth Conference opener, beating Hood 4-0 on the road Saturday.
The Lions scored all four goals in the first half, outshooting the Blazers 27-3 before halftime.

Sara Barr put the Lions up on the first action of the game, finishing off a deflected chance after just 95 seconds.
Barr then made it 2-0 in the 22nd minute, off an assist from sophomore
Jessie Leonardis.

Samantha Martin had a hand in two straight goals, scoring in the 26th minute with an assist from freshman
Morgan Raneiri.
Martin then had the stick-stop on
Mackenzie Faight's penalty corner that was blasted in by senior
Chelsea Klein for a 4-0 lead.
Albright had peppered the Hood cage with 12 shots in the opening 10 minutes- six of which were blocked by defenders and four were saved by Hood goalie
Jessica Sedgwick.
Martin had two more shots blocked early in the second half. Backup goalie
Selene Jones then made a pair of saves on the only two Hood shots of the period. Sedgwick finished with 18 saves for the Blazers.
The Lions improve to 4-5, 1-0 and will host Neumann on Monday, 5 p.m. in Shirk Stadium.
