Albright travels to face the Elizabethtown Blue Jays, who are receiving votes in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.

Previous Meeting

The previous time both teams met was last February, when Elizabethtown defeated Albright 60-53.

Kelecia Harris had a huge game against the Blue Jays; she was 11-of-13 from the floor and finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks. The Lions had a new school single-season shooting record at the conclusion of the game- Harris' field goal percentage of 59.6% shattered the record of 50.5% set by Jen Houser in 1995-96.

Albright Lions (7-4, 2-3 Commonwealth)

The Lions had a tough loss on Wednesday night against Stevenson. They rallied until the end, but failed to overcome their slow start. Harris made 8-of-12 shots to finish with 20 points, and senior Meghan Boyle added 10 points. Both just missed a double-double, with nine rebounds each.

The Lions had 24 turnovers in the loss against Stevenson, and need to fix that issue to overcome the loss from last year against Elizabethtown.

Elizabethtown College Blue Jays (9-1, 4-1 Commonwealth)

After a nine-game win streak, Elizabethtown lost to Lebanon Valley in overtime on Wednesday, 64-61. Kendra Beittel had a team-high of 18 points and inspired the fans with a game-high of four three-pointers. Elizabethtown only had five second-chance points the entire game and was outrebounded 52-26.

Head Coaches

Janice Luck is in her 12th season as head coach of the Lady Lions and also serves as the co-director of athletics at Albright College. After winning just 15 games in her first three seasons, Coach Luck took the program all the way to the NCAA tournament for the first time ever in 2007-08.

Sherri Gorman is an Elizabethtown alumna, class of '84, and is in her second season with the Blue Jays as their head coach. She was inducted into the Ira R. Herr Athletic Hall Of Fame at the college for her performance when she was an outstanding member of the team.  She coached the well-known Lancaster Mennonite High School girls' basketball team for nine seasons prior to accepting the head coaching position in Elizabethtown.

Albright and Elizabethtown meet again on February 22 at Albright to end the regular season.
