READING, Pa. -- The Albright College men's tennis team ran its winning streak to four consecutive matches as it recorded victories in five of the six singles matches on the way to a 7-2 non-conference victory over Penn State-Berks on Wednesday at the Albright Tennis Courts.

The Lions have reeled off four straight wins after a season-opening loss to Moravian and are currently 4-1 overall on the season.

Albright received singles victories from Ian Goodwillie, Matthew Muoio, Evan Cuff, Sean Purcell and Thomas Werner.

Goodwillie had an up and down match with Drew Weinhold at No. 1 singles, but eventually prevailed 2-6, 6-0, 7-6 (7-5), while Muoio rolled to a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Volan Nnanpalle at No. 2 singles to improve to 5-0 on the season.

Evan Cuff also remained perfect in dual match competition as he defeated Dylan Deleon 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles to improve to 5-0 overall.

Purcell knocked off Jerrad Seifrit 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Werner defeated Dismar Lima 8-0 at No. 6 singles.

Albright got doubles victories from Goodwillie and Muoio at No. 1 doubles and Richardson and Purcell at No. 2 doubles.
