READING, Pa. -- The Albright College men's tennis team posted its fifth consecutive victory as it rolled to a 9-0 non-conference victory over Cabrini on Tuesday at the Albright Tennis Courts.

After dropping the opening match of the season, the Lions have posted five consecutive wins and improved to 5-1 on the season. Albright's five victories on the season is already just one shy of tying last year's win total of six.

The Lions received singles victories from Matthew Muoio, Ian Goodwillie, Ken Richardson and Evan Cuff. Muoio and Cuff and Richardson and Sean Purcell posted doubles wins.

Muoio defeated Hugo Ballon 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Goodwillie dispatched Alijah Broadnax 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Richardson was victorious at No. 3 singles with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Anthony DiCicco and Cuff topped Joe Pacifico at No. 4 singles.

Purcell and Thomas Werner won by forfeit at No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively.

Muoio and Cuff defeated DiCicco and Ballon 8-5 at No. 1 doubles, and Richardson and Purcell blanked Pacifico and Broadnax 8-0 at No. 2 doubles. Werner and Terrence Goode won by forfeit at No. 3 doubles.
