ANNVILLE, Pa. --
Austin Phillips scored a first-half goal for the Albright College men's soccer team, but Lebanon Valley rallied for a 3-1 victory over the Lions in a Commonwealth Conference match on Wednesday at Herbert Field.
Phillips, who has points in three of the last four matches, took an
Andrew Sussingham pass and beat goalie Cam Avery giving Albright a 1-0 lead at the 19:26 mark of the match.
It was the fifth goal of the season for Phillips who currently stands second on the team in goals scored this year.
That lead stood until Austin Freeman scored at the 47:21 mark of the match knotting the score at 1-1.
Lebanon Valley took the lead for good when Bradley Mehl scored unassisted at the 59:51 mark giving the Dutchmen a 2-1 advantage.
Matt Prince scored his second goal of the season unassisted at 81:48 to make the margin 3-1 in favor of Lebanon Valley.
Vitali Zaluha led Albright with four shots, while Phillips finished with a pair of opportunities.

Peter Bockarie each had a shot for the Lions.
Austin Aldinger returned in net for Albright after a one-match absence and made two saves on the afternoon.
Lebanon Valley had 16 shots compared to 11 for Albright and owned a 9-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Albright dropped to 5-7-1 overall and 0-2 in the Commonwealth Conference, while Lebanon Valley raised its record to 5-5-1 overall and 1-0 in league play.
Albright will return to action on Saturday (Oct. 11) when it hosts Lycoming in a Commonwealth Conference match at 8 p.m. at Shirk Stadium.
