Albright concludes its 2013-14 season with a home game against Elizabethtown, and will recognize three departing seniors.

Albright College Lions (13-11, 7-10 Commonwealth)

Albright was eliminated from Commonwealth Conference playoff contention with a 45-43 loss to Lycoming, Tuesday in the Bollman Center.

The Lions cut a late nine-point deficit to one, but a three-pointer by Kristi McFadden at the buzzer was just off the mark with a chance to win.

Sophomore Kelecia Harris is one block shy of the school single season mark of 61, set by Allison Koch in 1988-89.

Senior Day

Today is Senior Day for three departing Lions who have led the team to its first winning season since 2008-09.

Shawn Barczynski has played in 62 career games, with nine starts. She has 212 career points and 216 career rebounds. As a sophomore, she averaged 7.0 rebounds per game and shot 52.6% from the floor. She was selected to the WBCA "So You Want To Be A Coach" program and will travel to Nashville in April for that experience.

Kristi McFadden has played in 95 career games, with 28 starts. She has started every game this season at point guard. She has 264 points, 177 rebounds and 160 assists for her career. This season, McFadden ranks sixth in the Commonwealth Conference in assists.

Meghan Boyle has played in 95 career games, with 89 starts. A member of the lineup since the beginning of her freshman year, her 722 rebounds rank fifth in school history (just two shy of the fourth spot). She has also totaled 869 points (an average of 9.1 per game), 71 blocks and 44 steals. She was selected to the D3hoops.com national Team of the Week as a freshman following consecutive double-doubles.

Elizabethtown College Blue Jays (19-4, 13-4 Commonwealth)

Elizabethtown beat Stevenson 72-66 on Tuesday, behind 24 points and 11 rebounds from senior DIII News Preseason All-American Taylor Kreider.

With the victory Etown became the first Division III women's basketball program ever to win 1,000 games, and just the third ever from all divisions.

Former head coach Yvonne Kauffman retired two years ago after winning 689 of those games. Current coach Sherri Gorman contributed to 105 of those victories as a Blue Jay player from 1980-1984, earning three-time All-American honors and reaching four straight national championship games.
