The Albright College women's basketball team faces its biggest rival in the Bollman Center, as the Lions host Alvernia University at 6 p.m.
Wednesday's Games Still On
Inclement weather has caused delays or cancellations at Albright for three straight days. With snow expected to stop this morning and a short travel for the visitors however, tonight's games are still planned for their regularly scheduled times.

Come support the Lions' men's and women's basketball teams as the Albright community "blacks out" the Bollman Center for these hometown rivalry games. Free black t-shirts will be given to all students, faculty and staff with Albright ID, while supplies last.

SAAC Fundraiser
The Albright College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will hold a fundraiser at halftime of tonight's men's game.
Fans can attempt a three-point shot for $3, to win a t-shirt (limit 10 winners). All proceeds will go towards the family of King's College women's basketball coach
Brian Donoghue, who was diagnosed with brain cancer this summer. Donoghue is in his ninth season with the Monarchs, and has three children.
Albright College Lions (11-8, 5-7)
The Lions dropped both Commonwealth games last week to fall one game behind Lycoming for the final playoff spot. Elizabethtown, Messiah, Lebanon Valley and Stevenson are all in a logjam for first place at 9-3.
Albright came from 20 points down in the second half to shock Widener 76-75 in their last home game. Junior
Amanda Tiritilli sank two threes in the final minute to bring the Lions back into it, and freshman
Shannon Thomas drove for the winning basket with nine seconds left. The Lions nearly replicated that last Wednesday at Arcadia, as Tiritilli made two late three-pointers to erase a second half deficit. Thomas then drove right for her second straight game-winning attempt, but it rolled off the rim and the Red and White fell 66-64 in overtime.
Alvernia University Crusaders (6-13, 2-10)
Alvernia is 6-13, 2-10, but has played first-place Lebanon Valley and Stevenson close in the past two weeks.
Chelsea Ebersole (10.8 ppg) has made 54 three-pointers already this season. Freshman center
Tyra Roberts averages 12.9 ppg and 7.3 rpg.
Previous Meeting
Albright led for all but the opening 92 seconds, in a 72-59 win at Alvernia on December 7. Sophomore
Kelecia Harris made 7-of-12 field goals and finished with 19 points and nine rebounds. Senior
Meghan Boyle added 15 points (5-of-7) and five boards. Junior
Jessica Venturelli had 11 points and equaled a team-high with six assists, while
Emily O'Donnell (10 points) was also in double-figures.
Albright quickly opened an early double-digit lead.
Kristi McFadden (six assists) got the Lions on the board with a runner, and later stole a pass to set up Harris on the break for a 7-2 lead. Thomas converted a nice drive from the right side to make it 13-4 Albright, and Harris added two free throws for a 15-4 advantage.
