Ian Moore and
Cain Walter won matches in their final home competition, as the Albright College men's tennis team defeated Bryn Athyn 6-0 on Friday.
The match was halted due rain with three singles matches still unfinished.
Moore and Walter played together at second doubles and defeated Bryn Athyn's
Dan Cook and
Blake McCurdy 8-1.
Moore also played at third singles, easily defeating
Kyle Watters 6-0, 6-1.
Freshmen
Matthew Muoio, who won 6-0, 6-1 at first singles, and
Ken Richardson, who swept two sets at second singles, also finished their matches ahead of the weather.
Muoio and Richardson teamed up at first doubles to defeat
Andrew Dexter/Watters 8-0.
Albright's final point came from third doubles, where the pairing of
Sean Purcell and
Terrence Goode was victorious 8-2.
Albright is 6-6 and has a chance for a winning record as the Lions conclude their 2013-14 campaign tomorrow at Hood.
