Brandy Blimline and
Marisa Bartone combined for 23 kills and the Albright College volleyball team recorded its first victory of the season with a 19-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-21 victory over Rutgers-Camden on Saturday in the DeSales University Invitational.
Albright, which dropped its first match of the day to Baruch, rebounded to post its first win of the 2014 season against the Scarlet Raptors.
Blimline paced the Lions with 12 kills and she added 11 digs to post her first double-double of the year. She also had a .357 attack percentage and two service aces.
Bartone finished with 11 kills and had a .310 hitting percentage, while also posting two service aces and three digs.
Caitlin Klotzbach led Albright with 29 digs and freshman
Claudia Guise had a match-high 28 assists.
Albright posted a .184 attack percentage, while limiting Rutgers-Camden to just .039.
