READING, Pa. -- The Albright men's soccer team wrapped up a five-match homestand with a 3-0 loss to Richard Stockton on Monday in a non-conference match at Shirk Stadium.
Anthony Colofranson scored two goals to lead the Ospreys to their five consecutive victory, while Bobby Varga made three saves in net to post his fifth shutout of the season.
Albright managed nine shots on the evening, three of which were on net.
Shawn Murphy had two shots to lead the Lions, while
Josh Linsmeier,
Austin Marich, Vitalie Zaluha,
Dan Scofield,
Keegan Frick,
Zachary Lahey and
Lawrence Pierre each had one shot.
Austin Aldinger went the distance in goal for Albright and made five saves.
Richard Stockton, which improved to 6-1-1 on the season, outshot Albright 19-9 and had eight corner kicks compared to one for the Lions.
Tim Sost got Richard Stockton on the board just 3:24 into the first half when he scored off of an assist by Jared Ruff.
Colofranson then added a goal late in the first half and a second-half goal to push the lead to 3-0.
Albright will visit Cabrini on Wednesday (Sept. 17) and then return home to meet Mount Aloysius on Saturday (Sept. 20) at 7 p.m. in Shirk Stadium.
