OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Freshman
Claudia Guise had nine digs, nine assists and four kills, but the Albright College volleyball team suffered its first Commonwealth Conference loss of the season on Tuesday as Stevenson defeated the Lions 25-11, 25-19, 25-20 at Owings Mills Gym.
Guise also added a service ace and posted a .333 attack percentage to lead Albright.
Cheyenne Robinett also had four kills for the Lions, while
Brandy Blimline had three kills and eight digs and
Kellie Hill recorded three kills.
The Lions, who dropped to 3-7 overall and 1-1 in the Commonwealth Conference, also received 19 digs from
Caitlin Klotzbach. Albright was limited to a -.010 attack percentage for the match, while Stevenson posted a .263 attack percentage.
Kristen Brooks led Stevenson with 13 kills, while Sara Bollinger had 28 assists and five digs. The Mustangs improved to 10-1 overall on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
Albright returns home on Thursday to face Dickinson in a non-conference match at 7 p.m. in the Bollman Center.
