DOYLESTOWN, Pa. -- Morgan Valera scored on a penalty kick leading the Albright College women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Delaware Valley in a non-conference match on Saturday at Robert Lipinski Stadium.

Valera scored her first goal of the season to give the Lions the victory and snap a two-match losing streak. Valera scored at the 52:50 mark of the match after a Delaware Valley foul.

Albright, which improved to 4-5 overall on the season, dominated play as the Lions outshot the Aggies 21-9 and had eight corner kicks to just one for Delaware Valley.

Jaymee Stepp notched the shutout in goal for Albright as she made seven saves on the afternoon and improved to 3-2 on the season.

Crissy Terraces led Albright with six shots, while Natalie Wilson had five shots for the match.
