Maddy Greth had 12 kills and sophomore
Kellie Hill finished with 10 kills, but the Albright volleyball team lost to Widener 25-21, 22-25, 25-19, 25-14 in a MAC Commonwealth match on Thursday in the Bollman Center in the Lions season finale.
Greth posted her eighth double-figure kill match of the season to lead the Lions, while Hill notched her third double-figure kill match of the year.
Freshman
Katie Schmerse added seven kills, six digs, a block and a service ace, while
Nicole Vazquez added six kills, three digs and two blocks for the Lions.

Becca Davis recorded a match-high 23 digs to lead Albright, which marked her 19th double-figure dig match of the year.
Janie Kalinock finished with 18 kills to lead Widener, while Natalie Winn added 10 kills.
Sabrina Barbieri had a double-double with 44 assists and 16 digs for the Pride.
Widener, which improved to 14-15 overall and 4-4 in the MAC Commonwealth, raced out to a 14-5 lead in the first set before the Lions stormed back.
Trailing 17-13, Albright got a kill from Hill, a Widener ball-handling error and an attack error to cut the lead to 17-16.
Leading 19-18, the Pride used a kill by Barbieri, an ace by Winn and a kill by Kelsey Lee to extend the lead to 22-18.
The Pride closed out the first set on a kill by Kalinock to take a 25-21 victory.
Albright, which finished its season with a 5-18 overall record and an 0-8 record in conference, answered back by taking the second set.
Leading 9-8, Albright used kills by Greth and
Victoria Wainwright and two Widener attack errors to push the lead to 13-8.
A kill by Hill and a service ace by Schmerse extended the Lions lead to 20-12 and Albright closed out the second set on a Widener service error.
Widener used a 7-3 run midway through the third set to pull away from the Lions on its way to a 25-19 win.
The Pride broke a 7-7 deadlock in the fourth set with a 14-4 run that gave Widener a 21-11 lead. Kalinock closed out the set, and the match, with a kill for the Pride.
