WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- The Albright men's swim team posted a pair of victories in a tri-meet with host King's and Lebanon Valley on Saturday.

The Lions defeated the Monarchs 108-85 and beat the Dutchmen by a score of 106-94 to improve to 4-1 on the season.

Albright received first-place finishes from Ken Richardson, Jay Deschamps, Matt Runtas and its 200 medley relay team.

Richardson claimed the top spot in the 200 freestyle as he finished the race in 1:49.97 as the Lions occupied three of the top four positions in the event. Runtas was second in 1:55.52 and Sean Yuschovitz placed fourth in 1:59.40.

Deschamps finished first in the 50 freestyle in 22.64 and Runtas won the 100 freestyle in 50.28.

The Lions relay team of Richardson, Tyler Chamberlin, Sean Riddle and Brendan Mackey-Wood finished first in a time of 1:42.65.

Albright used its depth to sweep the meet as Albright posted first, or second, place finishes in seven different events.
