READING, Pa. –
Matthew Muoio won at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, but Albright fell to Stevenson 5-4 in a Commonwealth Conference match on Sunday at the Albright Tennis Courts.
Muoio defeated Bryan Gieselman 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and paired with
Evan Cuff to post an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles over Gieselman and Conrad Ellis.
Albright won two of the three doubles matches as
Thomas Werner and
Terrence Goode teamed to defeated Nicholas Hooke and Tony Beres 8-4 at No. 3 doubles.
Stevenson rallied to win four of the six singles matches to claim the victory.
Albright also got a singles victory from Werner at No. 5 as he topped Beres 6-3, 6-0.
Albright dropped to 8-6 overall and 1-2 in conference play with the loss, while Stevenson improved to 6-3 overall and 3-0 in league play.
