WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Sophomore Matthew Muoio extended his singles winning streak to seven straight and also posted a victory in doubles leading the Albright men's tennis team to a 5-4 victory over Lycoming in the Lions season finale.

Muoio, who finished the Commonwealth season undefeated at 5-0, finished the season with a 15-3 singles record following a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Bryce Jones at No. 1 singles.

He also paired with Evan Cuff to defeat Joe Amento and Jones 8-6 in No. 1 doubles action. Muoio finished the 2014-15 season with a 15-3 combined record in doubles play.

Muoio, Ken Richardson and Cuff swept the top three singles matches.

Richardson, playing No. 2 singles, defeated Amento 6-1, 6-1 and Cuff beat Joe Rudderow 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

Cuff finished his freshman season with a 13-5 record in singles play and a 10-6 mark in doubles.

Richardson and Thomas Werner earned the Lions other point on the day with a doubles victory over Rudderow and Evan Bennetch at No. 2.

Albright finished the 2014-15 season with a 10-8 overall record.
