IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Albright women's soccer program earned their first victory of the 2015 season at Immaculata University today from Draper Walsh Stadium, 3-0. Junior midfielder
Natalie Wilson paved the way for the Lions attack as she posted two goals on the afternoon.
With the win, Albright improves to 1-0 on the season while Immaculata drops to 0-1 on the year. The last time the Lions opened the season with a win dates back to August 31, 2012 as the team defeated Penn State Berks in Reading 3-0.

Christine Allison earned her first collegiate victory in the 90 minutes of action in net facing one shot. The Mighty Macs net minder Elizabeth McBride suffered the loss as she made 14 saves on the day while facing 30 shots.
The first half saw Albright take a total of eight shots as Immaculata was not able to produce one. For corner kicks, the Lions held the edge, 1-0. At the half, it was a scoreless game.
In the second stanza, the Lions offense came alive, boasting a total of 22 shots on the Mighty Mac's. Wilson got the Lions on the board first with 59:19 showing on the clock as she was able to deliver a rebound shot past the McBride in front of the goal.
Ten minutes later, Wilson tallied her second goal of the game as Jess Cerankowsk was credited with the assist as the Lions went up 2-0.
At the 76
th minute the Lions put up their third and final goal of the day to go up 3-0. Albright's
Emily Sousa scored the goal and
Morgan Valera earned the assist.
The Lions were relentless in second half as the Mighty Macs did not get anything going putting up a total of one shot on the day compared to Albright's 30.
