MONTCLAIR, N.J. -- Sophomore
Maddy Greth had a 23 kills leading the Albright volleyball team to a split of its two matches on Saturday at Montclair State.
The Lions defeated John Jay 25-18, 25-17, 25-21 before losing to Montclair State 25-16, 13-25, 25-15, 25-16. The split of the two matches leaves the Albright record at 2-2 overall on the season.
Greth recorded a season-high 14 kills in Albright's 3-0 sweep of John Jay. She also added nine digs, two service aces and had a .225 attack percentage.

Claudia Guise and junior
Cheyenne Robinett each added five kills for the Lions. Robinett finished with an .833 attack percentage as she had five kills in only six attempts, while Guise posted a double-double with 18 assists and 11 digs to go along with her five kills.

Sarah Clark each finished with 10 digs for the Lions.
Greth posted nine kills in the loss to Montclair State, while sophomore
Kellie Hill finished with seven kills. Freshman
Victoria Wainwright added four kills, two digs and a block for Albright.
Albright will open MAC Commonwealth play on Wednesday (Sept. 9) when it travels to Alvernia for a 7 p.m. match.
