EWING, NJ- The Albright field hockey program fell 7-1 to The College of New Jersey when the two teams met Tuesday night.

TCNJ controlled the pace of the game jumping out to an early lead, and then continuing to build onto its lead. The hosts took a 5-0 lead into intermission along with a 12-1 advantage in shots. The Lions began to battle back at the start of the second half with
Tracy Snyder teaming up with Long to break the shutout. The goal, which was Long's 13th of the season, came at the 37:06 mark. TCNJ would go on to net two more goals before the final buzzer rang.

Aileen Taylor remained steadfast in the net making eight saves against a dominant TCNJ, who finished with a 21-2 advantage in shots.
The Lions return to Shirk Stadium on Thursday night when the team hosts crosstown rival Alvernia University. Prior to the match's 7 p.m. start, the program will recognize its graduating senior in pre-game ceremony.
