FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- 
Doug Franks pitched a complete-game victory and 
Julian Cimino went 4-for-7 and drove in two runs as Albright recorded its first two victories of the season with a doubleheader sweep of Norwich on Sunday at the Lawnwood Complex.
Albright won the opener 6-3 and completed the sweep with an 8-1 victory in the second game.
Cimino went 2-for-3 in game one and drove in a pair of runs, while 
Noah Beebe was 2-for-3, scored two runs and drove in a run to spark the Albright offense. The Lions got an outstanding starting effort from 
Trevor Mastria who went 5.0 innings and allowed no earned runs and struck out six batters.
Franks went 7.0 innings in game two and permitted just six hits, one run and struck out three batters. Micah Stroms had three hits and drove in three runs and 
Tanner Brescancine also had three hits for the Lions.
Norwich struck for a run in the first inning of game one, but the Lions responded in the bottom of the frame.
With two outs, Beebe singled and Cimino followed with an RBI triple that tied the game at 1-1.
Locked in a pitcher's duel, Albright broke through for three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Brandon Triantos led off the inning with a double and 
Jeff Yordy followed with a triple that put Albright ahead to stay at 2-1.
Yordy increased the lead to 3-1 when he scored on a wild pitch following a Norwich pitching change.
Beebe kept the rally alive with a single and Cimino ripped a double that brought home Beebe and pushed the lead to 4-1.
Albright stretched the lead to 6-1 when 
Bryan Brubaker drew a bases-loaded walk and Beebe produced a sacrifice fly.
Albright jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning of game two.
With two outs, Beebe began the rally by reaching base after being hit by a pitch. Cimino followed with a single and Storms put Albright ahead 2-0 with a double to center.
Norwich countered with a run in the bottom of the first inning, but Franks shut down the Cadets for the remainder of the game.
Albright pushed the lead to 4-1 in the third inning when Storms doubled in Beebe and Brescancine singled in Storms.
The Lions blew the game open with a three-run sixth inning.
Austin Roth produced a sacrifice fly and 
Jesse Fikslin added a two-run double to extend the Albright lead to 7-1.
Albright added an insurance run in the top of the seventh when Storms scored on an error.
The Lions return to action on Tuesday (March 15) when it faces Kenyon in a doubleheader beginning at 10 a.m.
