READING, Pa. -- Ken Richardson and Matthew Muoio each posted victories in singles and doubles, but the Albright men's tennis team lost to Alvernia 5-4 in MAC Commonwealth play on Tuesday at Angelica Park.

Richardson won at No. 2 singles and Muoio won at No. 1 singles and then they paired together at No. 1 doubles to post another victory.

Richardson topped Colin MacCloskey 7-5, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Muoio defeated Luke Hangan 6-4, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. Richardson and Muoio beat the team of Hangan and Reid Hoff 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.

Albright also received a dominant performance from Evan Cuff at No. 3 singles. He defeated Jacob Conapitski 6-0, 6-0 to record the Lions other victory of the day.

Albright dropped to 1-11 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while Alvernia improved to 4-7 overall and 2-1 in the MAC Commonwealth.
