CHESTER, Pa. -- 
Noah Beebe extended his hitting streak to seven games and streak of games reaching base safely to 10, but Albright dropped both ends of a MAC Commonwealth doubleheader to Widener on Saturday.
Widener won the opener 7-0 and completed the sweep with a 12-6 win in the second game.
Beebe went 1-for-3 in both games and drove in a run in the second game and scored two runs. Beebe is just two games shy of tying the Lions season-best hitting streak of nine straight by 
Julian Cimino.
Jeff Yordy and 
Austin Roth each had three hits in the doubleheader to lead the Lions offensive attack.
Widener, which improved to 18-12-1 overall and 11-4 in conference play, received an outstanding pitching performance from Kyle McKelvy in the opener. McKelvy pitched a complete game and permitted three hits and struck out 10 batters to lead the Pride to the win.
Justin Healey, who drove in seven runs against the Lions on Friday, had three hits and drove in two runs in game one.
Healey continued his assault in game two by driving in three more runs, while Nicholas Enos also drove in three runs for Widener.
Albright, which dropped to 4-22 overall and 1-14 in conference play, fell behind 10-0 in game two before rallying late.
The Lions scored a pair of runs in the third inning on a sacrifice fly by Cimino and an RBI single by Roth.
Albright scored three times in the top of the seventh on RBI singles by 
Joe Suppa and Yordy and 
Kyle Gantert was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to force in a run.
Albright returns to action on Sunday (April 17) when it plays at Gwynedd-Mercy at 1 p.m.
