Reading, Pa.- Albright women's golf team fell 393-381 to cross-town rival Alvernia at the Albright Fall Invite. The Lions top golfer was senior Chelseas Campbell, who shot a 92 and finished third overall, when the two teams faced off Thursday afternoon at the Berkshire Country Club.
Sophomore
Heather MacQuarrie posted 93 finishing one stroke behind her teammate in yesterday's contest. Alvernia's Emily Gilbert was the match's top golfer, and led the field with an 84.
Junior
Amanda Christian posted a 98 while senior
Samantha Hoplock and freshman
Sydney Robb finished the day with a 110. Sophomore
Kristen DePalma rounded out the Lions scorecard with a 117.
Albright looks to bounce back next Tuesday at the Ursinus Fall Invitational held at the Raven's Claw Golf Club.
