STEVENS, Pa. - The Albright golf men's golf team dropped a dual meet against Penn State Berks on Tuesday afternoon at Fox Chase Golf Course by a score of 322-344.
Sophomore
Nick Hand and Freshman
Mike Waugh led the Albright scorers by each finishing tied for third after shooting an 82 (+10). Freshman
Pat Lord finished sixth with a score of 84 (+12), while junior
Vinny Marfisi finished seventh overall after shooting an 85 (+13). Freshman Dylan Onkonski finished tied for 10
th after carding a 93 (+21) and was followed by sophomore
Sean Dugan in 12
th with a score of 96 (+24). Senior Payton Laramore and sophomore
Hunter Lomire rounded out the Lions scores in 13
th and 14
th, respectively.
Junior Heather McQuarrie was the lone Lions women's golf competitor on the Lions team for the day as she finished tied for 10
th after carding a 93 (+21).
Penn State Berks held the top two spots and three of the top-five spots to win the match. Matt Kreider finished 1
st with a low-round of 75 (+3).
Both Lions golf teams return to the course next Monday, October 30
th as they will wrap-up the fall schedule at the Knights Invitational at Cedarbrook Country Club with a start of 11 a.m.
