READING, Pa.- The Albright Men's Tennis team hosted Stevenson on Saturday, where they fell, 5-4.
Matthew Muoio and
Ken Richardson started off doubles play for Albright. They dropped their match 8-6.
Evan Cuff and
Dylan Rutt picked the team up with a win in the next doubles match, 8-6. Stevenson picked up another win in the third doubles match of the afternoon.
Albright started off strong in singles play when Muoio took his match 6-1, 6-1. Cuff added another singles match victory for the Lions when he won 6-2, 6-1.
Richardson put Albright up 4-2, when he won his singles match 6-2, 6-4.
Stevenson came from behind, winning the final three singles matches to take the victory, 5-4 over Albright.
The Lions return to the tennis court on Wednesday, when they travel to Glenside to take on Arcadia. Start time is scheduled for 3 p.m.
