WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- Men's Tennis traveled to Williamsport Wednesday afternoon where they defeated Lycoming, 6-3.
Albright started singles competition off strong when
Matthew Muoio defeated his opponent 6-2, 6-2.
Evan Cuff also cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win in his singles match. Senior
Ken Richardson made it three matches in a row for Albright with a 6-4, 6-0 victory. Sophomore
Dylan Rutt lost his first set, but battled back in the last two (6-3, 20-18) to give the Lions a 4-0 lead over Lycoming. Albright dropped the last two singles matches to make it 4-2.
Albright's first duo of Muoio and Richardson started doubles competition off strong, defeating their opponents 8-3. The duo of Cuff and Rutt continued the trend as they won their match 8-1. Albright dropped the last doubles match of the day to pick up the 6-3 victory.
The Lions return to action on Saturday when they host Stevenson at 1 p.m.
