READING, Pa.- Hayley Joyce recorded her 100th career save as the Albright Women's Lacrosse team topped Lebanon Valley in overtime, 10-9, at Shirk Stadium.

Five minutes into the game, Albright struck first when Patricia Horgan put the ball in the back of the net to make it 1-0.

After surrendering two goals, Albright went on a three-goal run over nine minutes when Kelly Baumann, Devon Mela and Jacqui Montague scored for the Lions.

Lebanon Valley put another goal on the board before Mariah Cullen scored for the Lions with nine seconds left in the first half. Albright took a 5-3 lead into the half.

The teams traded goals coming out of the half early, before Horgan scored on a feed from Danielle Carey to increase the lead to 7-4.

After a man-up goal from Lebanon Valley, Mela scored back-to-back goals within a minute of each other on assists from Cullen and Sophie Bass to increase Albright's lead to 9-5.

The two teams played some tough defense for the remainder of the half until Lebanon Valley caught fire over the final seven minutes. The Flying Dutchmen went on a four-goal run, including a goal with 32 seconds left in regulation, to force the game into overtime.

After an exciting span of shots and saves from both teams, Bass sent the Lions home happy with a goal in overtime on a free position shot.
