Teag Culver and sophomore
Chris Laite won a pair of races apiece and the Albright Lions men's swimming team kicked off the 2018-19 season with a 124-69 victory over Lycoming in dual meet action on Saturday afternoon at Albright Natatorium.
Culver captured the 500 freestyle in a time of 4:59.60 and the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:24.96, while Laite took home victories in the 100 freestyle (50.74) and the 200 freestyle (1:51.80). Other winners for the Lions included sophomore
Kyle Morken in the 200 IM (2:11.18) and junior
Anthony Spanier in the 100 fly (56.63).

Tyler Chamberlin, junior
Jabril Thompson and sophomore Harry Hunsberger captured the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:39.77 while the relay team of senior
Sean Riddle, Morken, Spanier and junior
Maliq Williams finished second in 1:43.61.
Albright swept the top three spots in both the 500 and 1,000 freestyle as Culver took first, Hunsberger finished second in 10:30.24 and junior
Nicholas Cancino was third in 10:43.55 in the latter. In the 500 free event, Culver won his second race of the day, Hunsberger touched the wall in 5:06.35 to take second and senior
Brendan Mackey-Wood finished third in a time of 5:07.70.
Laite (1:51.80), freshman
Tyler Sansone (1:52.14) and Mackey-Wood (1:52.46) took the top three spots for the Lions in the 200 freestyle, while Laite also won the 100 freestyle and junior
Maliq Williams took second in 51.30. Spanier (56.63) held off Riddle in the 100 fly (56.77) and Thompson took third in 1:00.04 to complete the clean sweep for the Lions. Morken held off sophomore
Corey Hausler (2:11.81) by less than a second in the 200 IM.
Chamberlin finished second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.13 and freshman
Nicholas Dolan finished third with a time of 25.74. Guiliano touched the wall in a time of 56.75 to take second in the 100 back.
The Lions return to the pool with a dual meet at Widener on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m.
