READING, Pa. – Senior
Emily Mollica scored just 1:23 into the game and the Albright Lions women's soccer team (12-4-2) scored a pair of goals in each half en route to a 4-1 win over the Cedar Crest Falcons (13-5) in opening round ECAC action on Saturday afternoon at Shirk Stadium.
Albright advances to the quarterfinal round with the win and will battle Westminster on Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m. at Shirk Stadium.

Autumn Bieber and the Milton, Pa. native was able to put it home near post to give Albright a 1-0 lead. In the 25
th minute, Cedar Crest's Daria Warner tied the game at one apiece as she sent a high shot that deflected off the hands of Lions' keeper
Alexis Tunney. Albright took the lead for good in the 39
th minute as sophomore
Amanda Fulcher sent a shot home off Bieber's corner to make it a 2-1 game. The goals were Mollica's second of the season and Fulcher's third.

Caitlin Costigliola buried a free kick from 15 yards out to make it a 4-1 game in favor of Albright. The goals were Bieber's fifth of the year and the first for Costigliola. Bieber also has 10 assists on the season which puts her one shy of tying the single-season program record.
Albright held a 14-4 shot advantage in the contest including a 9-2 edge in shots on target. Mollica paced the Lions with six shots, while Bieber had four.
Tunney earned the win for the Lions in 75 plus minutes of action and senior
Payton Bogatch made one save in 14 minutes of work. Maddock recorded five saves for the Falcons.
