WESTMINSTER, Md. – Six second half goals proved costly and the Albright Lions men's soccer team (1-3-1) fell for the third time in four games with a 7-0 loss to the McDaniel Green Terror (2-1-1) on Wednesday afternoon at the McDaniel Soccer Complex.
The Green Terror got on the board in the 30
th minute as Khaled Abuhantash collected a loose ball in the box and beat Lions' keeper
Brendan Hanratty to give the hosts a 1-0 lead. McDaniel controlled play throughout the opening stanza and held a 12-1 shot advantage heading into the locker room.
Three goals in a five-minute stretch in the early stages of the second half broke the game open for McDaniel as Randy Hilleary converted a penalty kick in the 48
th minute, while Drake Pew and Jimmy Towers struck within seconds of each other in the 53
rd minute. Abuhantash received a cross from Drake Byerly and netted his second goal of the game in the 69
th minute to make it a 5-0 game. The Green Terror would tack on two more goals in the final 15 minutes of the contest.
McDaniel held a 22-7 shot advantage on the afternoon and an 11-4 edge in shots on target. Junior

Hunter Jones had two shots apiece to pace Albright, while Hilleary had four shots to lead the hosts.
Hanratty recorded three saves in net for Albright, while Aaron Bilbie (one save) and Jonathan Mangione (three saves) combined on the shutout for the Green Terror.
The Lions look to bounce back when they return home to host the Marywood Pacers on Saturday night at Shirk Stadium. Opening kick is slated for 5:30 p.m.
