READING, Pa. – Megan Chesney's goal in the 18
th minute proved to be the difference in the game as the Albright Lions women's soccer team (5-1-1) saw their six-game unbeaten streak snapped with a 1-0 loss to the Moravian Greyhounds (5-1-1) on Wednesday night at Shirk Stadium.
Chesney collected a loose ball in the box from an Albright defender and sent the shot home to give Moravian a 1-0 edge with her team-leading sixth goal of the season.
This marks the second consecutive year that the Greyhounds have captured a 1-0 victory over the Lions.
Moravian held an 8-7 shot advantage and a 5-4 edge in shots on target. Junior

Erica Bross recorded three shots apiece to pace Albright, while eight different players recorded a shot for the Greyhounds.
The Lions had a few chances to tie the game including a shot from Bross that went just wide in the 33
rd minute, freshman
Olivia Donkus sent a rocket off the post in the 49
th minute and Lapidus was robbed by goalie Siobhan O'Sullivan who made a diving save in the 81
st minute.

Alexis Tunney made four saves in net for Albright. O'Sullivan (three saves) and Jamie Daly (one save) each played a half in net for Moravian.
Albright looks to bounce back on Saturday, Sept. 22 when they head to Delaware Valley to battle the Aggies at 5 p.m.
