RADNOR, Pa. – Capturing 11 of 14 events, the Albright men's swimming team dominated the pool on Saturday afternoon and earned a 152-95 win against Cabrini.
Chris Laite and junior
Corey Hausler picked up three wins apiece for the Lions. The 200 medley relay of Laite, Hausler, senior
Jabril Thompson, and sophomore
Joseph Guiliano captured the opening swim in 1:42.85. Hausler then grabbed wins in both breaststroke events – the 100 in 1:03.88 and the 200 in 2:21.21. Laite added victories in the 50 freestyle in 22.20 and the 200 backstroke in 2:05.11.
Junior
Harrison Hunsberger captured the 500 freestyle in 4:57.76 and the 200 freestyle in 1:51.15. Senior
Nicholas Cancino grabbed second place in the 200 in 1:54.14.
Other events won include the 200 fly, which was won by senior
Anthony Spanier in 2:12.41 and the 100 back by junior
Bryce Schaffer in 54.46. Senior
Teag Culver took the 1000 freestyle in 10:19.12 and classmate
Will Griffith took second in 10:21.37. Griffith added a win of his own in the 100 freestyle in a time of 49.38.
Albright swimming will return to action on Nov. 23 and 24 as both teams will compete at the Diamond City Invitational in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Saturday's session will begin at 9 a.m. and Sunday's at 10 a.m.
