BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Sophomore
Maggie O'Hare led Albright women's basketball offensively with a career-high 24 points to top Moravian 69-54 on Monday afternoon for the team's 11
th straight win.
Albright remains undefeated at 11-0 on the season and 2-0 in the MAC Commonwealth and Moravian falls to 6-4 overall.

Gabby Boggs pulled down 14 rebounds and scored eight points. Sophomore
Dejah Terrell scored 18 points and added eight rebounds in the victory while blocking seven shots, the most blocked shots by an Albright player since Feb. 15, 2014. With seven blocks, Terrell is tied for the third spot in the single-game block program record.
The first basket of the game came from Moravian over two minutes into the first quarter, however, a layup from Boggs at the 6:33-mark tied the game and senior
Hailey Dayton made two free-throws for a Lions lead that remained throughout the game. Albright scored 18 points in the first quarter and held the Greyhounds to just six points. The Lions increased the lead to 17 points, 37-20, at the half.
Albright's largest lead of 19 points came after a layup from Terrell nine second into the second half and Moravian worked to close the gap to nine at the 5:44-mark in the third quarter. With 50 seconds remaining in the third, a three-pointer from Moravian's Madison Amy made the score 47-41. The Lions led 51-42 going into the last ten minutes of play.
Just after the fourth quarter began, Moravian's Morgan Amy hit a shot from beyond the arc to put the teams six points apart. A block from Terrell and back-to-back layups from Boggs started an offensive run that increased the lead to 15 by the end of the quarter for a final score of 69-54.
Three Moravian players earned double-digit scoring, led by Kayla Yoegel with 13 points. Madison Amy tallied 11 points, six rebounds, and two steals while teammate Karlie Brogan earned 10 points. Nadine Ewald led the Greyhounds on defense with five rebounds.
The Lions went 26-of-67 (38.8%) from the floor after shooting 5-of-17 (29.4%) from beyond the arc and 12-of-19 (63.2%) from the line. The Greyhounds shot 31 percent (19-of 61) from the floor, 33 percent (6-of-18) from three, and 62.5 percent (10-of-16) from the line.
Albright will return home on Thursday, Dec. 19 for a 2 p.m. tip-off against King's College (Pa.).
