Terrell Leads Lions to Ninth Straight Win at LVC, 67-52

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Albright women's basketball team remains undefeated after sophomore Dejah Terrell's double-double led the Lions to a 67-52 win at Lebanon Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions extend their win streak to 9-0 and 2-0 in conference play while the Dutchmen fall to 3-5 and 0-3 in the MAC.

Terrell scored 20 points paired with 11 rebounds in the win while adding a season-high six blocks and six steals for the Lions.  Classmate Gabby Boggs followed with 15 points and eight rebounds after going 5-of-9 from the floor and 5-of-5 from the free throw line.  Sophomore Maggie O'Hare rounded out the top three scorers for Albright with 12 points while classmate Brady Wassel and senior Hailey Dayton each added six rebounds in the win.

Lebanon Valley's Morgan Bamberger scored 18 points and Emily Mealey pulled down 15 rebounds to lead the way for the Dutchmen.
 
Albright started out strong on both offense and defense to score 23 points in the first quarter and only allow eight from the Dutchmen.  Terrell had already notched a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds going into the locker room at the half for a 38-21 Albright lead.

The Lions added 24 more points in the third quarter and although the Dutchmen dominated the fourth quarter of the game, the Lions held onto the lead for a final score of 67-52.

Albright went 16-of-36 (37%) from the floor, 3-of-11 (19%) from beyond the arc, and 3-of-5 (73%) from the free throw line.  Lebanon Valley shot 29% (19-of-64) from the floor, 16% (1-of-9) from beyond the arc, and 50% (4-of-8) from the line.

Albright women's basketball will return home in one week to face Hood College in conference action on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m.
