AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The Albright Lions baseball team (2-6) scored a pair of runs in the top of the 15
th and outlasted the Knox Prairie Fire (1-8) 2-1 on Monday afternoon at Lake Myrtle Field in Auburndale.
This marks the longest game for the Lions since a 14-inning affair versus Messiah on April 17, 2003.
The game was scoreless headed into the top of the 15
th when the Lions loaded the bases via a pair of walks and a single to set the stage for
Kyle Gantert's bases loaded walk and
Joe Suppa being hit by a pitch to bring in a second run.
Knox grabbed a run in the bottom of the frame, but freshman
Dan Stofko (1-0) was able to get a fly out and a groundout to preserve the win for Albright.

Daron Pijanowski (1.0 IP, H, BB, K) and sophomore
Nick Cummings (2.0 IP, H, BB, 4 K) combined to toss 14 shutout innings for head coach Jeff Feiler's squad. The eight innings for O'Reilly marks a career-high and he is the first pitcher to fan 10 in a game since Casey Lawrence did so on April 30, 2010 versus Widener.
Zane Huffman (1-1) was dealt the loss for the Prairie Fire after issuing four walks and being charged with two runs on one hit in 1 1/3 IP. Andrew Ponce made the start for Knox and surrendered three hits while walking two and fanning one over six scoreless innings.

Logan Pennypacker (2-5, 2 SB, R) and freshman
Alex Stump (2-3, R) all recorded multi-hit games for the Lions. Pennypacker has now recorded five multi-hit contests this season.
Albright will battle Keuka College in a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon in Auburndale. First pitch of game one is set for 11 a.m.
