GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Albright women's lacrosse team used a complete performance on both sides of the ball to pick up a dominant 13-2 win over Arcadia in MAC Commonwealth play on Wednesday afternoon.

With the win, the Lions have won their program record sixth-straight game to improve to 7-2 overall and 1-0 in MAC Commonwealth play. Meanwhile, the Knights fall to 0-8 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

Sophomore goalkeeper Terae Mason got things started with a big save on a free position shot in the first minute of the game to keep the game scoreless. The Lions then used a long offensive possession which resulted in the first goal of the game as senior Sophie Bass scored her first of the game off a pass from freshman Taylor Filmer at the 25:38-mark. Freshman Ashleigh Tortorice extended the Lions lead to 2-0 at the 21:57-mark after junior Kelly Baumann found her in front. Following a 10-minute scoreless drought from both teams, freshman Lauren China found the back of the net to make it 3-0 Lions at the 11:44-mark. The Lions would then begin to pull away as they scored three goals within a 1:21 span to take a 6-0 lead at the 6:05-mark.
