COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Albright men's soccer team opened their season on the road with a contest at Ursinus College's Patterson Field on Saturday evening that ended in a 5-0 loss.
Ursinus began their charge in the 16
th minute of the game after sophomore Aiden O'Malley netted a corner kick from junior Alexis Ayala. In the 35
th minute, senior Colin Klingman converted a penalty kick caused by an Albright foul in the box. The Bears tallied three more goals in the second half from sophomore Aiden Cooper and a second converted penalty kick from Klingman, followed by a goal from sophomore Kevin Devlin to round out the scoring.
The Bears outshot the Lions by a 27-8 margin with a 14-5 edge in shots on target. Sophomore

Brendan Hanratty led Albright in shots with two each.

Joshua Cherisien had two. Earning the win for the Bears was sophomore goalkeeper Tyler Lewin, as he made five saves in the net.
The Lions will head across town to Penn State Berks tomorrow, Sept. 1, for another road match at 1 p.m.
