Billy Mullen lifted the Albright men's soccer team over Penn State Berks for the first time since 2014 after a contest across town on Sunday afternoon.

Yaniv Gonyoe got ahold of the ball in the box, putting Albright up 2-0. Penn State Berks' Brenden Valverde converted a penalty kick in the 81
st minute to place the Nittany Lions on the board. Albright improves to a 1-1 record as Penn State Berks falls to 0-2.
In the net for the Lions, Mullen had a career-tying high of 15 saves including a pair of diving saves in the span of six seconds in the 74
th minute. Berks' goalkeeper Carter Lam had four saves on the day.
The Nittany Lions outshot Albright by a margin of 23-8 and a shot on goal ratio of 16-6. Albright sophomore
Billy Hanratty tallied a team-high four shots and freshman Nate Nguyen paced the Nittany Lions with seven shots.
Albright men's soccer will host New Jersey City University on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. for their first home game of the season.
