READING, Pa. – Albright women's basketball picked up their 13
th consecutive win on Saturday afternoon in the Bollman Center after topping Stevenson 74-66 in a MAC Commonwealth matchup.
The Lions remain undefeated at 13-0 and 4-0 in conference play, the best start to a season in program history, and the Mustangs fall to 3-8 and 0-4 in the MAC Commonwealth.

Dejah Terrell paced the Lions' scoring with 23 points paired with 12 rebounds for her eighth double-double this season. Following closely behind her classmate, a hot-shooting
Amina Rauf added a career-high 22 points behind 6-of-12 from three. Sophomore
Gabby Boggs matched her career-high with 18 rebounds in the victory paired with a career-high eight assists while scoring eight points and blocking two shots.
Stevenson's Hannah Crist and Olivia Coleman each scored 14 points for the Mustangs, while Coleman led the way with eight rebounds and five blocks.
A good jumper from Stevenson's Coleman put together with two free throws from Hannah Crist started the game off to a 4-0 Mustang run. A three-pointer from both Terrell and Rauf quickly earned back a Lions' lead that was tied at the 4:08-mark, but passed by the Mustangs with 1:39 remaining in the first quarter. Stevenson held a 15-12 lead after the first 10 minutes.
A three from Rauf tied the game up two minutes into the second quarter and another at the 6:04-mark gave the Lions a 24-23 edge. The lead changed three more times in just six minutes, with the largest Albright lead being five points at the 3:35-mark and the greatest Mustang lead being four points with 33 seconds left in the second quarter. The second half was, again, capped off by a shot from beyond the arc by Rauf that brought Stevenson's lead to one point, 34-33, going into the locker rooms.
A seven-minute back-and-forth battle in the beginning of the third quarter was settled by Albright after a good free throw from sophomore
Maggie O'Hare gave the Lions the lead, which would be held throughout the end of the contest. The third ended with an eight-point Albright lead, 50-42.
Terrell notched 11 of the 24 points from the Lions in the fourth quarter and both sophomore
Brady Wassel and O'Hare scored threes to maintain the eight-point lead at the final buzzer, 74-66.
Albright went 9-of-18 (50%) in the fourth quarter to finish the game shooting 27-of-64 (42.2%) overall behind 9-of-28 (32.1%) from three and 11-of-17 (64.7%) from the line. Stevenson also shot 50 percent in the fourth quarter, but a third quarter shooting 22.22 percent (4-of-18) brought the Mustangs to 36 percent (27-of-75) shooting on the day. The Mustangs went 6-of-19 (31.6%) from behind the arc and 6-of-16 (37.5%) from the free throw line.
The Lions will travel to Lycoming on Wednesday, Jan. 8 for a 6 p.m. tip-off.
