WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Albright women's basketball team remains undefeated after battling back from a strong fourth quarter by Lycoming to outscore the Warriors 11-7 in overtime on Wednesday evening, clinching a 92-88 MAC Commonwealth win.

Albright continues its undefeated start to the season at 14-0 and picks up its fifth conference win as Lycoming falls to 7-5 overall and 2-3 in the MAC Commonwealth.

Sophomore Dejah Terrell picked up her ninth double-double of the season by scoring a career-high 31 points paired with 12 rebounds behind going 11-of-26 from the floor and 9-of-10 from the line.  Terrell leads the MAC Commonwealth with 21.2 points per game.  Classmate Gabby Boggs also picked up a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds while blocking three shots and adding five assists, while ranking second in the conference with 11.6 rebounds per game and third in field goal percentage with 55 percent.  Sophomore Brady Wassel scored a season-high 16 points for the Lions and classmate Maggie O'Hare registered 13 points in the victory.

Three-pointers from both Lycoming's Akilah McFadden and Albright sophomore Amina Rauf opened the game and an 8-2 Warriors' run led to their six-point lead at the 6:26-mark.  A good free throw from Boggs tied the game back up with 4:06 left in the first quarter as Albright ended the first 10 minutes on a 13-6 run to put them up 28-21.

The Lions started the second quarter off with a 6-0 run and Wassel paced Albright with nine points in the quarter for a 16-point lead going into the locker rooms.

Both Albright and Lycoming scored 19 points in the third quarter, and the Lions held a 66-50 lead headed into the fourth.

A 12-3 Lycoming run in the first four minutes of the fourth quarter kick-started a Warriors comeback, which was closed to just six points at the 5:00-mark.  A good three from Lycoming's Morgan Mader brought the game to three points, 72-69, and Wassel put the Lions up by 5 with 4:02 left in regulation.  Erica Lutz made a good layup for the Warriors to return the game to three-points and a failed offensive break by Albright gave Lycoming's Mader the chance to hit another three to tie the game at 74.  Terrell hit a good layup, but two free-throws by Lycoming's Kayla Kline again tied the game at 76 apiece with 1:43 on the clock.  Back-to-back Lycoming layups put the Warriors up by four, 80-76, with just 33 seconds left.  After traveling to the other end of the court, Albright sophomore Abby Gaffney pulled down a missed three-point attempt from O'Hare and made the layup, sending her to the line after being fouled.  The good free throw closed Lycoming's lead to one point, 80-79.  A good free throw by McFadden put the Warriors up by two and a Lycoming foul with seven seconds on the clock brought Terrell to the line, as she made both tied game at 81 at the end of regulation.

After Terrell won the jump ball for the Lions, a missed jumper and an Albright foul allowed Lycoming a point from a good free throw.  The Lions responded with a good jumper and O'Hare blocked a shot from McFadden, responding with a good shot from beyond the arc at the 1:54-mark to put Albright up 86-82. Lycoming brought the ball down the court for two points from Kenzie Reed in the paint and gained an extra point at the line after being fouled on the way up, closing the game to an 86-85 Albright lead.  Terrell's layup extended the Albright lead to three, 88-85, which was closed quickly to one point by Lutz with 29 seconds left in the game. O'Hare and Terrell capitalized on two Lycoming fouls with 26 seconds left in overtime, making all four shots for a 92-87 Albright lead with 11 seconds remaining.  A Lycoming free throw from Kelly Vuz with four seconds on the clock made the game 92-88 at the final buzzer.
