Lebanon Valley Overpowers Lions

Reading, PA - The Albright Lions fell to the Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen on Saturday night by a score of 3-0. The loss drops the Lions to 1-6-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference play. The Dutchmen improve to 6-5 and 1-0.

LVC got on the board first in the 13th minute on an Anderson Velozwong goal. The Dutchman would extend their lead in the 20th minute on a Nathan Prex goal. They would take that 2-0 lead into the half.

The second half saw the Lions play a more aggressive game. Despite multiple chances, the Lions could not score. LVC would add to their lead in the 68th minute on a Zach Reed goal, giving them a 3-0 lead, the eventual final score.

Lebanon Valley held the shooting advantage at 13-8, and the corner kicks advantage 11-3.

The Lions had three shots on goal in the game, two from Martin Ramsay, and one from Noah Raimonde. Cooper Walters and Chris Denholm each got time in net, and each made two saves.

Up Next - The Lions will next play on Wednesday, October 5th against York. That game will start from Shirk Stadium at 7pm.
