READING, Pa. - The Albright men's basketball team (3-4, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth) was in action this afternoon on their home floor and fell to visiting Hood College (5-3, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) by a final score of 83-81.
The two teams traded buckets in the early going to get the game underway. Midway through the opening 20 minutes Albright began to find their offensive touch. Overall the Lions shot 50% from the floor and 50% from three through the first 20 minutes of play.
The Lions stretched their first half lead to 10 courtesy of a Markus Bradley-Lowry triple off a great pass from Jordan Guerrero. A Guerrero three put Albright up 13 points with three minutes to go in the half.
As the first half came to a close the Blazers hit two big threes to make the deficit only six at the break.
In the second half Albright held a 10 point advantage with 7:30 left on the clock looking for their third straight win and second straight in conference play.
From 7:30 to the end of the game the Blazers used a 19-9 run to earn the comeback victory, 83-81.
