ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Albright women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 MAC Commonwealth match at Lebanon Valley on Tuesday.
With the loss, the Lions fall to 1-2 in conference and 8-3 overall. Meanwhile, the Dutchmen remain undefeated in conference at 4-0 and improve to 9-4 overall.
Lebanon Valley jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after claiming all three doubles matches.
Alex Pancu kept her singles win streak alive with her 11
th straight victory at the No. 1 spot. Pancu notched the Lions lone point of the match with a statement 6-3, 6-4 win over the Dutchmens' Jacquelyn McBride. Lebanon Valley went on to claim the next five singles matches to solidify their 8-1 victory over Albright.
The Lions will return to action on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. as they travel to Penn State Abington for non-conference play.
