GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Albright men's tennis team was swept on the road at Messiah in the MAC Commonwealth opener on Saturday.
 
With the loss, the Lions fall to 2-5 overall and open conference action 0-1. Meanwhile, the Falcons improve to 4-7 overall and 1-0 in conference.
 
The Falcons jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after claiming all three doubles matches. Messiah then dominated in the singles matches, only allowing nine points from Albright as they claimed the 9-0 sweep over the Lions.
 
Albright will return to action on Tuesday at 3 p.m. as they host Eastern at the Albright College Tennis Courts to continue MAC Commonwealth action.
