Reading, PA - The Albright Lions played to a 1-1 draw against PSU Berks on Thursday night. The draw brings both teams to a 1-3-1 record.
In a game where they played more aggressively and physically, Albright got out to a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute when
Martin Ramsay scored off of an assist from goalie
Cooper Walters. It was Ramsay's third goal of the season. That is how the score would stay until the 90th and final minute, where a ball would deflect off of an Albright defender, and go into the net for an own goal. That would bring the score even for the match.
The Lions had seven shots on goal, with Ramsay taking four of them. The other three came from
Brendan Markey,
John Villano, and
Erick Tacuri. Goalie,
Cooper Walters made three saves to go along with his assist.
Up Next - The Lions will next play at home on September 17th at 7:30pm, as they will take on Rosemont College at Shirk Stadium. That game will be the finale of an action filled homecoming day.
