Doylestown, PA - The Albright Lions fell to the Delaware Valley Aggies on Tuesday by a final score of 2-0. The Lions fall to 1-5-2 on the season, while the Aggies improve to 4-2.
Neither team was able to get anything in the back of the net in the first half, as the Aggies held a slight 6-4 shooting advantage, and 5-4 corner advantage. The teams would enter the half tied at zero.
Early in the second half the Aggies would get on the board, scoring in the 50th minute on a Danny Henson goal. They would double their lead in the 76th minute with a goal from Aaron Osborne.
For the game, the Aggies outshot the Lions 14-10, while the Lions held the overall advantage in corners, 8-7. Both
John Villano and
Damian Broadhurst had two shots on goal for Albright.
