IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Albright men's basketball team (2-2) returned to the court on Monday (Nov. 27) evening after a long eight days off. Albright went on the road squaring off against Immaculata (5-2). The Mighty Macs got the better of the Lions winning tonight 93-82.
Albright returned to the court tonight for the first time in eight days. Last time out the Lions defeated University of Dallas 82-75 picking up their second win of the young season.
Tonight's game marked the first road game at Immaculata in Albright's program history. Previously, Albright hosted Immaculata twice and won both games over the Mighty Macs in 2012 and 2021, respectively.
Albright and Immaculata were tied at 39-39 after 20 minutes of game action.
Eric Chamberlain paced the Albright offense in the first half pouring in a team high 13 points on 6-7 shooting from the floor.
Chris Kouemi enjoyed a nice first half grabbing eight rebounds and scoring four points.
The game remained tightly contested throughout the second half including the Lions battling back from being down by as many as 15 points. Albright got within four points of Immaculata at 71-67 but could not complete the comeback seeing the Mighty Macs pull away late for the victory.
Albright finished with four scorers in double figures led by
Jeremiah Stanton who had a big second half scoring 13 points to finish with18 points. Stanton made three threes' while dishing out six assists. Chamberlain and
Phanique Dupree all were in double figures scoring 20 and10 points, respectively.
Dupree recorded six blocks tonight which places him in a tie fourth all time in program history. Chamberlain finished with four steals tonight marking the fourth straight game where Chamberlain has recorded at least four steals.

Albright will return to the court in less than 48 hours heading to Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday, November 29. The game is set for an 8 p.m. tip-off from Annville.
